PROJECT PLANS TOOLS & TEMPLATES

"We never find time to do it right, but always find time to do it over."

Although creating a project plan may take a little work and time up front, that time and work on planning will be MORE THAN made up for once the project is underway. TRUST ME!

One deterrent and misperception is that the only official and "right" project plan is an MS Project plan. Depending on the project, you may be able to manage it quite effectively without an MS Project plan. Let me emphasize that you always need a project plan, but it doesn't always have to be an MS Project plan.

That said, MS Project, if you know how to leverage its capabilities and use it correctly, is a very useful and powerful tool to manage your projects. However, if you don't know how to use the tool, it can be quite frustrating and seemingly an overhead burden. If you need assistance in using MS Project, please feel free to contact me.

Below are examples of various types of project plans. Please note that these are examples! Every project is different, and has its own set of tasks, deliverables and milestones that need to be accomplished. However, these should give you some ideas to get started on organizing your own project plan.
